Why is all the content unavailable?
If you are not seeing any content listed, make sure you are logged in. In the upper right corner, are you able to see your name? If not, select “Member Login” to log in. Available content will vary based on membership type.
How do I find the course, recorded webinar, or video I am looking for?
Select from the topics listed on the top navigation or on the home page. If you are unsure of where the content is located, search by keyword using the search feature available on the left side menu to locate the content
How do I register to complete courses or view recorded webinars and videos?
You must register for each available course, recorded webinar, and video. Select the “Register” button to proceed. After registering, the content will also be added to your “My Learning” section.
Where are my courses that I have registered for, started, or completed?
Select “My Learning” on the home page. You’ll see all of your courses listed here. There may be multiple pages of content on your “My Learning” section, so be sure to scroll and tab through the pages. You can also filter the results by format, status, certificate/CE and type.
Where can I find my completion certificates?
Select “My Learning” on the home page and then select the “Transcript / Achievements” tab. From here, you can view and print your certificates.
Where can instructors and state training points of contact (POC) find request forms, how-to guides and website links?
Select “State Training Information” listed in your “My Learning” section.
State training information is only available for instructors and state training POCs. If you are an instructor or a state training POC and do not have state training information listed on your “My Learning” section, send an email to training@cvsa.org.
If I fail an exam, where can I find what to study to prepare for my retest exam?
Review the exam category breakdown by selecting the class from your “My Learning” page. Once you select the class, select “Take Exam” and your exam category breakdown will be displayed. From here, you can see your percentage for each category.
The exam category breakdown is available for review when applicable. Some exams do not have any categories.
How can I register to attend a class?
Select “Browse/Register for Live Training Classes” on the left side menu or go to portal.cvsa.org to find current in-person and virtual class offerings. Once you have registered, class materials will be added to your “My Learning” section.
